The power handling of the SSi subwoofer has been increased by fifty percent for 2004. The ten, twelve, and fifteen inch SSi subwoofers are now rated to handle up to 750 watts RMS. The eighteen inch SSi subwoofers are now rated to handle an even 1000 watts RMS for the new year.

The SSi is now available in a new 8 inch size for applications with limited enclosure volume and/or depth. The SSi 8 is a true subwoofer rated to handle 500W RMS.
