This is Chris William's Ford Focus ZX3. Chris's ZX3 won the Pro Stock 151-300 Class at USACi World Finals in Kansas City, Missouri with a score of 151.2 dB. Chris says the car is good for 163 dB on an AudioControl Version 3 SPL meter. Chris's Focus has numerous performance upgrades and an ultra-custom painted fiberglass subwoofer enclosure. Chris arrived in Kansas City with a pair of woofers from another manufacturer who will remain unnamed. After those "other brand" subwoofers failed in testing, Chris switched to a pair of TREO Engineering CSX15 fifteen inch SPL subwoofers and picked up enough dB to take home the first place trophy in his class. Congratulations Chris and good luck in 2003!
Special thanks to Todd "Fester" Carter for bringing spare CSX15s to USACi Finals... those bad boys are heavy!

Chris's ZX3 has performance parts from AEM and upgraded alloy wheels by Focal. Amplifier power comes from a pair of MMATS D100HC D-class high-current amplifiers. The Alpine source unit in the photos has been replaced by a high-tech Pioneer 840MP CD/MP3 player. Lots of Cascade V-Block keeps the rattles out.
